Transcription:
Our rates are extremely reasonable and tend to be lower than our competitors. But we are not “cheap.” Your client will not be well served if you do not have an accurate transcript. Our company is unique in that we do not outsource our work internationally. Because our transcribers are based within the continental United States, we do not have errors due to language and cultural differences.

Capital Reporting Company's online deposition calendar lets you view your upcoming deposition dates at any time. You can conveniently check to see if a deposition was scheduled, or simply verify what time a deposition is scheduled to begin. In addition, you can easily schedule new depositions and change the time or date of an upcoming deposition. Whenever you alter your calendar, email verification of the change will be automatically sent to your email account.
Once you obtain a User ID and Password from Capital Reporting Company, you can access all of this information online, any time of the day, free of charge. And don't worry – all of your information and documents are protected with firewalls, user IDs and encryption. Only you will have access!

With the online transcript repository, Capital Reporting Company is open to you 24/7! All of your transcripts are available online whenever you need them. This means you can access any deposition transcript from any location with an Internet connection. Once a completed transcript is available at the repository, you will receive instant email notification. You can download the transcript as soon as it is available, or wait until you need it.

Capital can handle all of your deposition needs, no matter where they are being held. We have hundreds of qualified court reporters, videographers, and interpreters nationwide to assist you with this process. With offices on both coasts, we have all time zones covered! And we make it easy for you! A case manager will be assigned to your case, and will be your go-to person throughout the life of your case.
Prior to your depositions, your case manager will set up a ten minute meeting with your key staff so we can fully understand your needs, as well as review all of our services. Once they determine what services are best suited for your case, your case manager will create for you and your team a personalized case specific standing order. Additionally, they will walk you through your very own client only webpage that will allow you to have 24/7 access to your schedule, invoices, and online transcripts. Traveling across the nation and don’t feel like carrying your 400 page transcript? No problem! Just download a new copy once you arrive to your destination.
After determining all of your needs, Capital will work with you in order to provide smooth and consistent service through the life of the case. No one likes seeing a new court reporter each day. Our goal is to keep the number of reporters on each case to a minimum. For those cases with multiple reporters (i.e., cases that need expedited service,) Capital will take the necessary steps to ensure continuity. Page numbers, word lists, and exhibit numbers are usually provided to reporters before they walk in the door.

Interactive Realtime Reporting:
Realtime service allows users to connect directly to the court reporter's computer for an instantaneous display of the transcript as it is being written. While receiving the Realtime feed from the court reporter throughout the deposition, users can then create notes within the transcript, mark testimony, perform searches, and more. Realtime technology also provides the capability to stop and start the scrolling of the text as the deposition progresses. There is no limit to the number of users that can log into the Realtime Server at one time.

Video Streaming:
Streaming Internet deposition technology lets users conveniently receive Realtime streaming text from anywhere in the world. This feature permits you to take the deposition in one location, and have your expert or client in another location watching the deposition in real time. Simply call to schedule your deposition and let us know which parties will be accessing it from a remote location. We will then email the user a link to click on when the deposition begins. The real time text will be displayed instantly on the user's computer in a text box that allows the user to customize text size, font and color. Realtime capabilities are also available if desired.

Video Synrchonization, Digital Audio and Video:
Digital Video text synchronization enables users to very quickly & easily access, edit and present video deposition clips. Text synchronization is the process of synchronizing the digital video to the court reporter's transcript. This creates the ability to instantly find a specific part of the video simply by entering a page and line number within the transcript. Editing clips of specific portions of the video can be accomplished with the ease of clicking a few buttons, allowing for almost effortless creation of a sophisticated trial presentation.

Our expert in-house videographers use the latest technology to give you the highest quality video of your deposition at an affordable price. We provide E-Transcripts of all transcripts that are ordered. This allows you to view the transcript on your computer no matter where you. Our E-Transcripts come in .ptx and .txt files, both of which can be viewed on any computer with the proper software.
